Show Information
The award-winning MCAS
Miramar Air Show is one of the nation's largest air shows. The MCAS
Miramar Air Show provides a firsthand opportunity for the general
public to visit and enjoy a world-class air show and aviation trade
expo. This year's show will be held Friday, Oct. 3 through Sunday,
Oct. 5, 2008.
The MCAS Miramar Air
Show is San Diego's largest weekend event. No other event in San Diego
attracts more than 800,000 spectators in a weekend. It is an unmatched
source of FREE family entertainment.
Proceeds from
MCCS business activities benefit the Marines and their families' Quality of Life Programs. Recent federal
budget cuts have reduced support for MCCS programs. Proceeds from
MCCS concession sales help offset the budget cuts.

Marine Corps Community Services Miramar has not yet signed independent novelty vendors for the 2008 show.
